We are looking for a skilled and passionate Speech Pathologist to work in our collaborative team.  We have an opportunity available for people who are looking for full-time or part-time work. In this role, you will provide quality Speech Pathology supports to families and their children in both centre-based and home/community visit settings. All supports are provided through a family-centred practice approach.

Our team of Speech Pathologists work closely with families, carers, teachers, doctors, and other health professionals. 

Remuneration is offered at the above Award rates and Firstchance has an attractive salary packaging scheme available to all staff. Employment conditions are under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award (2020). All Firstchance employees are subject to a 6-month probationary period.

Qualification:

A Degree in Early Childhood Teacher (0-6years or 0-8 years) or A Teaching Degree
(Primary trained with extensive experience in Early Childhood)

The Role

• Supporting children aged 0-12 years and their families
• Providing services in the child's home, early childhood education setting, school, or at Firstchance.
• Supporting children with a range of disabilities including autism, developmental delay, chromosomal disorders and genetic conditions
• Providing a full range of speech pathology supports including undertaking assessments
• Based at Mayfield and supporting families in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens Region
