Little Ones Early Support Program Our Little Ones Early Support Program – A Soft Place to Land The Little Ones Program provides families with a gentle entry into supports at a time when they are often feeling overwhelmed after learning their baby or toddler has a disability or developmental delay. This is a time when hope can feel lost, and families may experience grief, isolation, and uncertainty about the future. Little Ones offers connection, guidance, and emotional safety — helping parents navigate this new world with confidence and support. The program is facilitated by specialist Early Childhood Intervention Educators and provides: Play-based early intervention (1.5 hours per week during school terms) Critical information and support for families Individual family service plans One-on-one support for parents/carers to identify strengths, needs, goals, and strategies Direct benefits include: Stronger parent-child relationships Increased understanding of the child’s needs and how to support them Greater family resilience and confidence Improved wellbeing and social connectedness Early childhood is a time of remarkable brain development. Providing quality early intervention now helps children develop the skills they need to thrive in everyday life and reduces the need for intensive supports later.
