Screeners and assessments

Firstchance is able to offer families access to screening tools and assessment where there are concerns about their child's development.

Our team of: Psychologists; Occupational Therapists; Speech Pathologists; Physiotherapists and Specialist Educators are able to carry out standardised assessments and screeners to support families to identify strengths of their child and focus on areas for development.

We have screening tools and assessments available across domains such as:

  • Movement and Positioning
  • Gross Motor and Fine Motor 
  • Sensory Processing 
  • Behaviour
  • Receptive Language
  • Expressive Language 
  • Early Literacy 
  • Developmental ages and stages
  • Cognition 

We are also able to conduct:  Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessments; Cognitive Assessments, Neuropsych assessment.

Our screening and assessments services are available to existing Firstchance families as well as for new families.
